Bengaluru: The Bengaluru division of the Income Tax Department concluded its raids on the residence of Sandalwood star Rashmika Mandanna on Friday, January 17.
The IT team returned from Virajpet with two trunks of documents collected from Rashmika’s residence.
The raid was carried out by a team of 10 officers.
Rashmika, who joined the investigating team, left Virajpet early on Friday morning after answering the questionnaire prepared by the IT team.
According to sources, the IT team seized a substantial amount of cash from Rashmika’s residence. But, neither the IT officials nor Rashmika’s family has issued any clarification in this regard.
Rashmika, who debuted in Sandalwood with 2016 super-hit movie “Kirik Party”, has been a busy actress. She acts in the Kannada, Telugu and Tamil film industries.
