Bengaluru: The Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition candidate from Hassan Lok Sabha constituency, Prajwal Revanna met the former chief minister and Chairman of Government-alliance Coordination Committee, Siddaramaiah here on Tuesday, March 26.

Later, Prajwal addressed the media and said that Siddaramaiah was close to the former prime minister and Janata Dal (S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda’s family and had seen him since his childhood.

“Siddaramaiah has assured that he would participate in the campaign for me in Kadur, Arkalgud and Arsikere”, Prajwal said.

Reacting to the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate A Manju contesting against him, he said that he was not afraid of him as he had not spoken a word against Manju.

“I will not indulge in ‘criticism’ politics”, he added.

He commented that it was not a big deal to give money and gather people, as he also could do it.

He said, “I have just begun my campaigning and I am on my way to seek the blessings of every individual of the district which will boost my chances of winning the election.”

Meanwhile, he also met Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G Parameshwar and sought his support for the campaigning.
