Bengaluru: On the second day of lockdown relaxation and permission to operate the buses, the KSRTC decided to operate 2,000 buses to all parts of the state. There will not be any inter-state services.
According to the KSRTC authorities, on Tuesday, which was the first day of the operation post lockdown relaxation, there was a huge demand for the services across the state.
Keeping in mind the increased demand, the corporation is running more number of buses on Wednesday.
The last bus from all the bus stations across the state will start at 7 pm.
Meanwhile, BMTC is also running over 500 buses on day two. The buses are operated with just 30 passengers.
KSRTC has made sanitiser arrangement in all the bus terminus as a precautionary measure. Wearing mask has been made compulsory for both the passengers and the crew members.
