Bengaluru: The crucial floor test of the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition, which was to be moved yesterday, Monday, July 22, after a day-long discussion, confusions, arguments, counter-arguments etc., was postponed to today by Speaker Ramesh Kumar based on the opinion of the former chief minister and CLP leader Siddaramaiah yesterday.

As the fresh set of arguments and discussions began today on the floor of the house at 10 AM, Urban Development Minister and Dakshina Kannada District In-charge Minister U T Khader began attacking the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party.

He criticised the BJP leaders stating, “Yours is a party which eats biryani with Pakistani prime minister, even though they become the reason for blood shed across the borders, but when we go to meet our own party members who are rebelling against the state coalition government, you hold us back. Kindly ask yourselves whether whatever you people are doing is ethical.”

“If you have any love left for people of this country, the Constitution and the country on the whole, do not give any portfolio to the rebel MLAs who have resigned from their posts”, he added.

Meanwhile, he also attacked the national leaders of the BJP alleging that they were using the government institutions unethically to show their power over the opposition and offering money to MLAs of other parties and grabbing them to their side through ‘Operation Lotus.’
