Bengaluru: Top leaders of the BJP, former Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda and MP Shobha Karandalaje have attacked the ruling coalition government in Karnataka and have predicted the end of the government within a few hours after the LS results are out.

Taking a jibe at the meeting between Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and JDS leaders HD Devegowda and HD Kumaraswamy, DVS said that the people who are going to lose their identity have come to meet each other.

“Naidu and HDK share the same mindset. On May 23, CM Kumaraswamy will tender his resignation by evening and platform for the new government will be set,” he said.

Calling former CM Siddaramaiah as the most arrogant CM ever, DVS said that the truth cannot be hidden for long.

Weak and inefficient government
Meanwhile, speaking about the coalition government, MP Shobha Karandalaje said that it hardly makes a difference for the state if a non-performing government like the HDK government is in power or is toppled.

“The present government is busy saving itself, pushing the needs of the people to the backseat. The Congress does not have control over its own MLAs. It cannot catch Ramesh Jarakiholi and Roshan Baig will be followed by many more MLAs expressing their anger against the Congress,” she said predicting that the government was set to collapse soon after the LS polls results.
