Bengaluru : Former Congress MLA N L Narendra Babu and few small screen actresses, namely Jyothi, Ashalatha and Sangeeta joined the BJP in the presence of state party chief today.
BJP president Yeddyurappa, former DCM R Ashok, BJP vice-president KP Nanjundi and former legislator Kumar Bangarappa welcomed the new entrants into the party fold at the Party office in Malleshwaram.
Speaking on the occasion, Yeddyurappa said, the tide is in favour of BJP across the state.
Welcoming Narendra Babu back into the party fold, Yeddyurappa assured him of suitable party position. Narendra Babu had left the party during former chief minister Ramakrishna Hegde’s regime to join the Congress.
N L Narendra Babu representing Rajajainagar constituency lost to another party heavy weight Suresh Kumar in the last elections. After being sidelined in the Congress, Narendra babu quit the party recently.
