Bengaluru: Special dog squads were pressed into action in Ramanagar town following the bomb scare. However, later it was confirmed that there were no bombs, but only firecrackers used by the miscreants to unleash fear.
All started with a few locals alerting the local police informing about two suspicious items found near Janaghad hotel. Immediately the police rushed to the spot with bomb-defusing machines. But after the inspection, the police confirmed that they were firecrackers.
As a precautionary measure, the police dog squad was pressed into service. The dog squad was taken to several public places to find out whether any suspicious materials are placed elsewhere. Police have told people that there is no need to panic.
