Bengaluru: The former MLA Sambhaji Patil from Belagavi south lost his son to a train accident on Monday, December 3.
The son, Sagar Sambhaji Patil died after falling underneath a moving train.
He was 38 years old and was in Bengaluru with his friends. The incident took place during their return trip on the Rani Chennamma Express. According to sources, Sagar fell underneath the train when it reached Srirangapuram and died on the spot.
A case has been registered with the Bengaluru City Police.
