Bengaluru: It seems, there is no end to the war of words between the Congress State Unit leaders. Now opposition leader in the state assembly Siddaramaiah who is also the former Chief Minister and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar engaged in a war of words over bringing back the turncoat leaders.

Former CM Siddaramaiah made it clear that he will not allow the induction of 14 turncoats who caused the fall of the coalition government led by H. D. Kumaraswamy in 2018. He said that they are the cheaters.

However, KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar said that those who follow Congress ideology are free to join the party. “All those who are interested to join the party by believing the party ideology can apply. We will consider,” he said.

It can be recalled here that the supporters of Siddaramaiah and D. K. Shivakumar are engaged in a war of words over who will be the next CM.
