Bengaluru: The bail plea of Sandalwood actors Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani, which was supposed to take place today, has been postponed to September 21.
The CCB officials said that they are yet to complete the investigation and the bail has been postponed based on their request.
Both the actors are in judicial custody after their arrest by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru, earlier this month in connection to the drug racket case.
However, now, the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) special court in Bengaluru has adjourned the hearing of Ragini and Sanjjanaa’s bail petition to next Monday (September 21).
Ragini Dwivedi was arrested by CCB on September 4 and Sanjjanaa Galrani was arrested on September 8. Both the actors are lodged in separate cells at Parapana Agrahara Jail. While Sanjjanaa is prisoner number 6833, Ragini Dwivedi is prisoner number 6604.
More than 10 people have been arrested in connection with the Sandalwood drug racket.
