Bengaluru: For the surprise of the senior Congress leaders of the state, DCM Dr G Parameshwara today paid a visit to the residence of major irrigation minister DK Shivakumar. The leaders held discussion for over one hour.
Dr Parameshwar going to meet DKShi has left eyebrows raised as the former is way senior to DKShi.
According to the sources, both the leaders discussed the ongoing rebel crisis in the party and the future strategy to be adopted to save the government. Both the leaders discussed about neutralizing the Ramesh Jarakiholi factor in the party.
They also discussed about the current political trend in the state and alliance performance in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polling.
It can be recalled that Ramesh Jarakiholi has continued his verbal attack on DKShi stating he is the man behind the present crisis.
