Bengaluru: On Monday May 3, the Karnataka Congress blamed the state government on the reports that three patients died in Chamrajnagar District COVID-19 hospital due to a lack of oxygen.

The state Congress has criticised the government in a series of tweets, claiming that the incident was the product of criminal negligence on the part of the government.

The party questioned, “If the 23 people who died in the hospital died of COVID or were murders caused by negligence by the government.”

The party also demanded the Karnataka Health Minister Dr. Sudhakar to resign. “Who will bear the responsibility? Karnataka Chief Minister, Health Minister, Prime Minister?” asked the party.

The party stated that the patients were ‘Murdered by the Government,’ and Chamarajanagar district in-charge Minister Suresh Kumar and state Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar are directly responsible for the death of 24 infected people in the district. They added that both ministers must resign immediately.
