Bengaluru: Karnataka has been lashed by heavy rainfalls for the past month and things don’t seem to be getting better with several parts seeing some of the worst floodings in decades. Now, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in the next 24 hours for Kerala and the coastal regions of Karnataka.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, August 22, the Met Department wrote, “Under the influence of convergence of lower level westerlies, Kerala and Coastal Karnataka is likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places during next 24 hours and isolated heavy rainfall during the subsequent 4 days.
