Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa symbolically launched the vaccination drive for the above 18 persons in Bengaluru on Saturday, May 1.
It can be noted that Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr K Sudhakar had asked the people not to rush to the government and private vaccination centres as the State Government did not have sufficient stocks of the vaccine.
Apart from Karnataka, nine other States are facing shortages of the vaccine and have asked their people to visit the vaccination centres only after the Centre supplied the vaccines.
