Bengaluru: Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa released a postal stamp of Bengaluru founder Nadaprabhu Kemgegowda to mark his 512th birth anniversary here on Sunday, June 27.
On the occasion, CM also flagged off the construction work of Kempegowda Study Centre to be built at the Jnana Bharathi Campus of Bangalore University. The center will be built at the cost of Rs 45 crore and intends to focus on studying Kempegowda and his history apart from researching his concepts about urban development and administration.
The event took place at the Banquet Hall of Vidhana Soudha.
