CM meets Muslim leaders, asks for cooperation in finding Tablighi Markaz attendees

Bengaluru: The Muslim leaders have agreed to provide the details of those who attended the Tablighi Markaz in Nizamuddin in New Delhi, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa informed on Friday, April 3.

He made the announcement after holding a meeting with the Muslim leaders and legislators to seek their cooperation in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The CM also informed that they will convince the attendees to undergo tests for COVID-19 and follow appropriate quarantine rules.

Speaking to the media, CM BSY said that the Muslim leaders are advising members of their community to offer prayers at home and stay indoors to observe social distancing during the “azan”.

The Muslim community has also been asked to cooperate with the health workers during treatment.
