Bengaluru: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy will visit Dharwad today and meet the families of those who died in the building collapse two days ago. He is expected to hold a review meeting with the senior officials over the incident and also look into the follow-up action.
It can be recalled that seven persons died while 61 people were rescued in the building collapse incident, which sent shock waves across the state.
According to the sources in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), revenue minister RV Deshpande who is also the district in-charge minister of Dharwad district visited the collapse site and briefed the CM.
