Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa met Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Friday, March 6, and requested him not to move the prestigious Aero India 2021 out of Bengaluru.
The CM was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjol.
According to sources, CM BSY and Singh discussed a slew of projects halted in Bengaluru due to the objections raised by the Defence Ministry. He requested Singh to join hands with the state government by releasing the Defence land for developmental works.
Both the leaders also discussed the prevailing political situation in the state.
