Bengaluru: To commemorate the first death anniversary of Late. Amratlalji Dagar, a blood donation camp was jointly organized by the Lions Club and Lions Charitable trust of Sanjaynagar, Bengaluru, with Kidwai hospital on Friday, March 19.
“It will be so nice if we have more families observing such occasions with a blood donation to help meet the shortage of blood due to fewer Corporate Camps, due to Covid,” said Alphone Kurian, chairman of the lion’s bloodline.
Shortage of blood in blood banks raised due to the Covid pandemic. The blood donation camp was very helpful to meet the emergency need for blood of the patients, where 60 family members donated their blood.
