Bengaluru: Most of the city’s underpasses are notorious for illegal activities as civic agencies like the BBMP have failed to properly maintain them.
However, the CN Rao underpass in Mattikere near IISc (which connects West Bengaluru to the Central Business district) is an exception to this.
The underpass has become quite the attraction as motorists often stop for a few moments to enjoy the new wall art. The Ugly Indian is credited for converting the underpass into a spot in the city that features the contributions of several of the world’s scientists.
The wall, which is painted blue, has diagrams and other information painted across it in white.
Sources say that the BBMP has decided to join hands with the organisation in an attempt to beautify a few more of the city’s underpasses.
