Bengaluru: The BBMP has set a upper limit of 20 people who can attend the final rites of any deceased persons in the BBMP limits.
The BBMP has issued an order in this regard.
This order is applicable to all the crematoriums, and burial grounds.
The BBMP also made arrangements for hand washing compulsory at all crematoriums and burial grounds as part of the precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, the employees of all the crematoriums in the city donated their one day salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
