Bengaluru: A BBMP official, who cam in contact with Padarayanapura ward corporator Imran Pasha, tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, June 1.
It can be recalled that JD(S) corporator tested positive for the disease recently. An FIR was also registered against Pasha for violating physical distancing norms and other offences.
Reportedly, the BBMP official came in contact with Pasha on Friday itself, the same day the latter tested positive.
According to a report by TNM the BBMP official who tested positive today was one of three who were in quarantine.
Many of the Corporator’s other contacts, including Chamrajpet MLA and former minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan have tested negative.
