Auspicious Time: New MP Prajwal Revanna to take oath on Friday?

Bengaluru: Newly elected Lok Sabha member from Hassan Prajwal Revanna remained absent when members from Karnataka took oath as MPs on Monday. He remained absent even when his name was called out on Wednesday. This has made way to speculations that the new MP may have been waiting for an auspicious time to take the oath.

If sources are to be believed, then Prajwal’s grandfather and former prime minister HD Devegowda has sought time from the Lok Sabha Secretariat for Prajwal to take oath on Friday, after 2.30 pm, as a member of the Lower House. When this happens, Prajwal’s parents- Minister HD Revanna and Bhavani, few relatives and JDS leaders from Karnataka will be present at the visitors’ gallery.

Despite June 17 and 18 having been reserved for new MPs to take the oath, they can be taking an oath even later, but, a special reason is now being attached to Prajwal’s decision to not take oath on the said dates.

Devegowda family is known to have immense faith in astrology and their frequent visits to the astrologers have hit headlines many a time in the past.
