Bengaluru: Almost half of Bengaluru population is inoculated so far. In all, 49 per cent of city’s population has received at least one dose of vaccination.

Though the turnout is low, according to BBMP sources the reason could be attributed to the fact that vaccine will be free after Monday June 21 and people would be waiting to be jabbed thereafter. Also, the sources added that in all 81 per cent of the people who were slated to receive the second dose in BBMP limits have received the same.

As many as 7.8 lakh people in the city have received the second dose so far.
