Bengaluru: Reacting to the ‘Kannada flag bikini incident’, Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Sunday June 6 said that Amazon is hurting the sentiments of the Kannadigas.
He said that Karnataka government should take action against Amazon Canada for selling women’s innerwear and lingerie products printed with colours of the Karnataka flag and icon.
“Google made a similar mistake and apologised later. Now it is Amazon’s turn. Government should teach them a lesson,” he said.
