Bengaluru: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sought the permission of the state government to carryout investigation into alleged irregularities in the PPE kits and other Covid 19 procurements.
According to the sources, the ACB has written to the state government in this regard on June 2. However till now the government has not responded.
CN Deepak, general secretary, Karnataka Rastra Samiti had filed a case in this regard with the ACB.
Opposition parties including the Congress is alleging rampant corruption in the Covid 19 management in the state.
