Bengaluru: As many as 30 passengers who were travelling in a Bengaluru-bound KSRTC bus, sustained injuries the driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed it into a roadside tree in Bidadi, on the city’s outskirts. Reportedly, the driver lost control of the bus after the axle broke.
As per reports, the accident occurred near a two-wheeler showroom in the area.
According to police sources, most of the injuries sustained in the accident were head injuries. Five of the passengers are said to be in a critical condition and have been rushed to NIMHANS for treatment.
Police also said that the severity of the accident was so great that two two-wheelers parked in front of the showroom came under the wheels of the bus.
