Bengaluru: A 100-bedded ultramodern Covid care hospital is all set to open in Yelahanka here in the next few days, further improving the health infrastructure in preparation for the anticipated third wave.
The centre is an easy-to-replicate model, heat stress-resilient, solar-powered and was built in 21 days. Union Chemical and Fertilisers Minister D. V. Sadananda Gowda is likely to open the facility on Saturday June 19.
The hospital has been jointly developed by Boeing Defence India Pvt Ltd, Selco Foundation, KPCL and Doctors for You, an NGO.
