Bagalkot: A class IX student of Hunagunda taluk in the backward Bagalkot district of the state has been selected for the Pariksha Pe Charcha programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This event will be held on January 20 in New Delhi. Poornima Revanasiddappa Naashi, a student from Tarivala village is the student selected for the event. She had applied for the event by submitting an essay which has been selected by the PMO.
A student of local Jambaladinni government high school, she has been asked to report at Bengaluru on January 16 for an onward journey to New Delhi.
“I never dreamt of this opportunity. I am really excited. I will try to spread the message of the Prime Minister,” she stated.
