Kolar: Congress MLAs are leading a luxurious life in the Eagleton Resorts and the Congress leaders have said that it is only to discuss the party issues that the MLAs are lodged in resorts.
The opposition is complaining that the legislators are not available to the people of their respective constituencies at the time of crisis due to the resort politics of the Congress party, But in contrast to all these allegations Kolar MLA Roopa Shashidhar rushed to her constituency from the resort to help the people of her constituency when there was an elephant attack.
Elephants had invaded the fields and farms in Kolar, creating havoc. Though the locals contacted the forest department, they did not get their help in time. The locals then contacted their local leaders. The local leaders had to inform the MLA as they had no other option.
