Kasargod: An incident where three family members that includes a man and his two children being found dead in Chervathur near here has been reported.
The deceased have been identified as Roopesh (37), an autorickshaw driver, and his children Vaideshi (10) and Shivanand (6) from Madivai of Pilikkodu in the district. The bodies were found in a room of a house under construction.
The children died of poisoning and the man died by hanging. It is suspected that the man would have poisoned the children and later resorted to hanging himself.
It is learnt that Roopesh and his wife were staying separate due to some differences and family dispute might have led to him taking the extreme step, it is suspected. Chandera police is investigating the case.
