Kasargod: The Kasargod Railway Police have seized a huge shipment of tobacco products that were being illegally transported to Kerala by train.
Pramod Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh has been arrested by the railway police for illegally transporting the tobacco products. Pramod was caught transporting the tobacco products in Mangaluru-Chennai train after the police, on a tip-off, conducted an inspection in the train.
The railway police have seized around 11 thousand packets of tobacco products from Pramod which he had hidden under his seat, filled in plastic bags.
