Kasargod: Miscreants threw less intensive bombs on a Youth Congress party worker Deepu Krishna’s residence in Periya here on Monday, May 6.
Due to the explosion, the walls of the house suffered minor damage.
The inmates of the house, on hearing the explosion, came running out of the house to check what had happened. By that time, the miscreants had fled the spot.
The Congress party has accused Communist Party of India (Marxist) of the act.
The Bekal Police rushed to the spot and conducted an inquest.
A case has also been filed in the Bekal Police Station.
It is learnt that Deepu Krishna was a friend of the two Youth Congress workers Kripesh and Sharath Lal, who were hacked to death on February 12 night, while both were on their way to their residences in Periya.
