Kasargod: After paying a visit to Kolluru Sri Mookambika temple in Udupi district on Friday, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe visited the famous Kumaramangala Subramanya Temple at Bela near Kumbla in Kasargod.
The Lankan Prime Minister was staying at a resort in Uduma after completing his visit to Kolluru temple on Friday.
Security was stepped up around the temple in wake of Wickremesinghe’s visit. He was welcomed by the administrative committee of the temple on his arrival at the temple on Saturday. Only 15 priests, temple staff and Committee members were allowed into the temple during the PM’s visit.
He then left to Bekal, from where he will reach Mangaluru in a chopper. Deputy Commissioner Dr D Sujith Babu was present.
