Kasargod: The Kasargod City Police nabbed a culprit on Thursday, December 12, for allegedly filming women entering a hotel toilet with a mobile camera.
The accused is 26-year-old Sameer, a resident of Alampady.
According to police sources, Sameer, who works in a shop located at the city’s old bus stand, was recording women entering a hotel’s toilet. One of them is said to have seen the camera and brought it to the notice of the hotel owner. When the owners checked the toilet, they found the mobile in recording mode.
“Sameer had entered the hotel saying that he had forgotten his mobile phone in the toilet. When the hotel owner checked his phone, they found obscene videos. The CCTV cameras at the hotel also prove that Sameer was frequently moving around in the hotel," said the police.
Meanwhile, the police have informed that the video footages on his mobile phone will be investigated by the Cyber Cell.
