Bus carrying wedding guests turns turtle near K’taka-Kerala border; Seven dead

Kasargod: A bus ferrying guests to a wedding ceremony turned turtle on a house killing seven people, including a 11-year-old child.

The tragic incident took place at Panathur, on Kerala-Karnataka border area, on Sunday afternoon.

The bus fell on the house of a local resident named Jose and fortuntely, none of the occupants of the house were injured.

The condition of at least eight others is said to be critical. They have all been rushed to hospitals in Mangaluru and in Kasargod area.

The driver lost control over the vehicle in a slopy area and the bus turned turtle.

The guests were plying via Kallapally-Panathur to Karike in Kodagu district to take part in a wedding ceremony. The identity of the deceased and the injured is not ascertained
