Hubbali: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Jagadish Shettar said here on Tuesday, May 14 that former chief minister and CLP leader Siddaramaiah had already preset a time to collapse the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition.
Speaking to media on May 23 after the general election results, the 'time bomb' by Siddaramaiah would 'explode', leaving no chance for the existence of the state coalition government.
“Some of the Congress leaders and Siddaramaiah’s supporters are urging him to be the next CM. The man behind this conspiracy and secret strategy is none other than Siddaramaiah himself, because at any cost he wants to be the chief minister once again”, Shettar alleged.
He blamed Siddaramaiah of being the main reason behind Mandya Lok Sabha independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh not getting the ticket from the Congress party.
