Bengaluru: Jackson D’Souza, police inspector, Hubballi rural police station has been kept under suspension for failing to file charge sheet in the court of law within 90 days as prescribed by law against three Kashmiri students who allegedly shouted pro-Pakistan slogans on February 15, 2020, in Hubballi.
These three BE students studying in KLE engineering college in Hubballi were accused of shouting pro Kashmiri slogans. They were arrested and kept at the high-security Hindalaga jail in Belagavi. They were granted bail recently as the police failed to file the charge sheet within the stipulated 90 days.
