Hubballi: More planes would start service from Hubballi Airport soon under UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagarik) scheme of the Union government for the regional connectivity, said MLA, former CM Jagadish Shettar.
Speaking after a felicitation by Glass House Garden Suhasya Group here on Sunday, Shettar said that the state has air-connectivity to its main cities already. Major private airline companies including IndiGo would start service from July. It would help the trade and business to a great extent.
Meanwhile, the senior BJP MLA opined that the people of Karnataka wanted BJP to come to power, but the party couldn’t reach the magic number by few seats. The coalition government may fall at any time and the BJP may come to power once again, he opined.
