Hubballi: “Chief minister Siddaramaiah must hand over all scandals and cases that occurred over the past 30 years in the state to the CBI” said Opposition leader in the state assembly, Jagadish Shettar.

Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Shettar said that reports of Congress MLAs’ demand for handing over cases registered during BJP and JD(S) regime to the CBI is just a blackmail technique of the ruling party. “BJP won’t fear such blackmailing techniques”, he agitated.

Our demand of transferring DK Ravi’s death case to CBI has been ever constant. Bowing to pressure of the public of the state and nation, government transferred the case to CBI. Even after transferring and neglecting the high court order, the government is revealing investigation details collected by CID. Attempts of character assassination of Ravi and a woman IAS officer are on by the government,” he alleged.

He also said the government is making Ravi’s case more mysterious by deleting video footages of CCTV cameras installed at his father-in-laws’s residence. “CBI, which has started investigation into Ravi’s death, may have to inquire about the suspicious moves of CID itself in the coming days,” he added.
