Hubballi: Sharing a “derogatory” Facebook post on Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy proved costly for a constable as he was suspended from duty.
The police commissioner of Hubballi-Dharwad M N Nagaraj suspended constable Aruna Dollina attached to the Hubballi Shahar Police Station.
The Facebook post accused Kumaraswamy of failing to waive farm loans even after 18 days. “When is your (Kumaraswamy) resignation?”, the post said.
Reportedly, the commissioner had also received complaints that the constable’s wall on Facebook had posts favouring Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
