Hubballi: A 42-year-old driver of a Karnataka State Road Transport Company (KSRTC) bus saved several passengers by bringing them to safety, minutes before he died of a cardiac arrest on Thursday, October 15 in Hubballi.
Iranna Hampayyanavara complained of uneasiness and chest pain while driving the bus. Even though he suffered a massive cardiac arrest, he managed to halt the bus. Ensuring safety of all the passengers, he drove till the bus stand and collapsed on the steering wheel thereafter.
Even though locals rushed him to the hospital, it went in vain as he was declared brought dead.
He displayed an enormous sense of responsibility and bravery by ensuring the safety of all the passengers, which was appreciated by all.
