Hubbali: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has taken a jibe at former CM Siddaramaiah for ‘singularly’ addressing the Karnataka State Legislative Assembly Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri.
Addressing the media on Saturday, October 26, CM Yediyurappa said, “It does not hold good on the part of Siddaramaiah to speak as he wishes to the Speaker of the House. He must mind his language, or else people will teach him a lesson.”
“He must apologize for speaking singularly to Speaker Kageri or I will pass a motion against him in the House,” warned BSY.
Reacting to the Chief Minister’s remarks, Siddaramaiah clarified, “I’ve already said that I was not given a chance to speak on the floor of the House. I have not spoken ill about the Speaker. Let me see how BSY will take action against me. I’m in the field of politics for more than four decades and I don’t need any lecture by BSY on how to speak in the House.”
