Hubbali: The Bharatiya Janata Party State President B S Yeddyurappa has said that it would be a welcome move if the Congress-Janata Dal (S) State Coalition made veteran Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge the chief minister of the state.

Speaking to media here on Thursday, May 16, he opined that it was former chief minister and CLP leader Siddaramaiah who was creating confusions by giving out statements in favour of Public Works Department Minister H D Revanna that he too could become the CM.

Meanwhile, he claimed that after the results of general elections on May 23, BJP would come to power again by winning 22 Lok Sabha seats.

He said, “Once the BJP gets mandate in the Centre, three independent candidates of the state assembly will be joining BJP by which we will be 109 in strength. This will change the political scenario of state politics.”
