Mangaluru: The collection of poems entitled “Poems on the Eternal God” by Dr. J Vijayalakshmi was published in its second edition on April 18. The anthology is divided into two parts- “The Realisation” and ” The Omkara.”
“The poems focus on the various aspects of art, an individual and their relationship with God. It also portrays the various idiomatic connotations of life with its binary opposites.The four Vedas, 5 essentials of life, 32 chromosomes and 64 art forms are structured around God. The forum and the abode of eternity revolves around the entities of love and truth. “He is the Supreme knowledge, yet he abounds in the love of ignorance; He envisages, capitulates and re-creates the universe and beyond”, says the author.
The audio book, which will be the first of its kind, will be released in May 2018.
Dr. Vijayalakshmi is a poet and a writer. She has to her credit a novel entitled “Quest for God.” Her research book – “A postmodernist Critique of the Selected Works of Amitav Ghosh” was recently released at the Ahmedabad International Literature Festival.
