Haveri: Mocking former chief minister Siddaramaiah for his statements against the BJP, state rural development and panchayat raj minister K S Eshwarappa said that the former could not go even a day without criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to the media on Monday, December 23, he said, “It is impossible for Siddaramaiah to go even a single day without mocking and criticizing PM Modi. He is under the false impression that, if he criticizes PM Modi, he will become a great leader.”
Questioning the former CM's "intolerance" towards the CAA, Eshwarappa asked, “If the Muslim leaders have no issues with the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), why does Siddaramaiah have issues with the Act?”
He also mocked at Siddaramaiah saying that he had not learnt a lesson from his defeat in the 2018 Assembly elections in Chamundeshwari, his own constituency and that all his predictions about the BJP getting swept off in the 2019 General Elections had backfired on him and the Congress party on the whole.
