Hassan: In a tragic incident, two people were found burned beyond recognition in a car in Halebeedu on Saturday, June 9.
The deceased have been identified as Girish (35), hailing from Arehalli in the Belur Taluk and Sandhya (28) hailing from the Balli village in the Udupi district.
As of yet, it is uncertain whether the two took their own lives or if foul play is involved although, some witnesses have suggested that it could be a case of honour killing.
The police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the owner of the car.
