Hassan: Disturbed over developments, a teenager committed suicide after girl’s relatives thrashed him in public for giving lift to a girl in his bike at Abbur near Konanur in Hassan district.
Sharan aged 18, resident of Abbur in Arakalgud taluk is the deceased.
He had given a lift to a girl in his bike after which her relatives came and thrashed him. When his father went to mediate girl’s relatives also man handled him. Hurt by unexpected developments teenager consumed poison and succumbed in few minutes.
Four of girl’s relatives are absconding. Case has been registered in Konanur police station.
