Hassan: Former minister H D Revanna has ‘revealed’ that disqualified MLA Roshan Baig knew about the downfall of the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government in the state.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, November 16, he said, “Roshan Baig had once informed me about the strategies being sketched out to bring turmoil in the state coalition government. Actually, Baig is an honest man. The Congress did not treat him well and, out of self-respect, he distanced himself from the party. I respect him a lot and if he wishes to join the JD(S), he is always welcome.”
Lashing out at the BJP leaders, he said that there was no necessity to learn moral lessons from them and that the tough times have only begun for the BJP.
He also lashed out at his own party members who joined the BJP and said, “People who have built their political career under former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda, are now accusing them. God will teach them a lesson.”
