Hassan: Four railway over bridge concrete pillars at the new bus stand collapsed during the ongoing construction on Thursday, March 12.
No deaths or casualties have been reported yet.
According to sources, the construction has been going on since a year and the project is being undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs 42 crores, as it is a Centre-state project.
The people have urged the government to conduct a thorough probe into the incident.
Meanwhile, the civilians have claimed that the pillars collapsed due to substandard work.
